Each year, the World Bank Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program awards grants of up to $25,000 for developing country, PhD candidates to conduct innovative, development-related, research under the supervision of a research advisor at a host institution abroad. The call for applications has been extended to December 14, 2016.
I am reaching out to ask for your help in sharing this information with PhD candidates in Egypt whose PhD research focuses on issues of poverty alleviation and shared prosperity in developing countries. Within this group, the World Bank is looking particularly for those PhD candidates who are currently employed by academic or research institutions in developing countries.
